Dressing Up Your Windows

Springtime is a very busy time of the year for my Mom and I with our window-covering business.

You can really change a windows appearance with adding beautiful fabrics and designing creative window treatments. 

 

Arched cornices with a single side panel created and installed in this lovely entryway ...

A mock roman valance created for a family room window...

A kingston valance created for a dining room window ...

Board mounted valances and custom pullshades designed for privacy.

Traditional swags and cascades fit this living room so well. This gorgeous home is over a hundred years old.

Simply Stated {Joy}

One of my favorite past times is spending time in the garden, today I dressed up my vintage beach-cruiser ... all ready for Spring. Some of you have seen this treasure before but now, with it's its fresh new look, I just had to share it!

I added a few fresh blooms to the chippy, rusty basket. It's so stinkin' cute, leaning up against that old pepper tree (planted way back in the 1950's).

Here we go... A New Year!

Happy New Year!

Christmas and New Year's past by very quickly at our home ... I usually wait until after the New Year to take down all my decorations but because we were moving everything came down on December 26th.

I am thankful to say we are moved into our new home...still unpacking and looking for things I can not find. We accumulated a lot of stuff in our old house over the 15 years we lived there, My son came down with a flu bug on the critical days of our move which made things a bit intense for heavy lifting but we made it! A huge thank you to our extended family that stepped in and helped us with the moving extravaganza.

In the middle of the move I peeked in our mailbox to grab the mail and found the newest issue of Somerset Life Magazine!

Thank you so much to the Editor-in-Chief, Christen Olivarez. It is such a pleasure to be included in Stampington & Companies beautiful magazines!

Thrilled to see two of my photos published and featured in the {Miscellany} section of the Somerset Life , Winter Issue.
